GRÄNSFORS BRUK WILDLIFE HATCHET

A$199.00
sold out

The Gränsfors Wildlife Hatchet is a traditional scouting and camping axe that has become really popular with spoon carvers the world over.

This is the axe I started out with and I still use it for lots of carving jobs today. Like all Gränsfors axes it is hand forged in Sweden using superb quality carbon steel and it comes really sharp and ready to carve.

It has the same head as the smaller Hand Hatchet but on a longer handle. This longer handle lends the axe more power which comes in handy if you are planning to go out and source some of your own wood.

The axe is capable of felling small trees, lopping off branches or splitting small logs for the campfire. It comes with a great quality leather sheath and a copy of the Gränsfors Axe Book which has lots of info about their axes and how they are made.

A great all rounder that I personally use for most of my carving.
